Dear ,
Welcome to the Artificial Intelligence and Automation (AIA) course. I am very excited to begin this semester/journey with you, where we will explore the fundamentals of machine learning, neural networks, control systems, and AI applications.
To help you succeed, we have prepared several resources that will accompany you throughout the semester:
📚 Lectures (PDF presentations): Along with each lecture, I will support ideas and examples with PDF files that you can use to take notes. The files are organized on the website and can be accessed any time.
📖 Support lectures and readings: This site is a new way to work and release complementary resources and support information for students. I strongly recommend using the EduHub site as the main reference to read about each new topic in the course. Thus, please visit the site and explore the lectures available until now.
💬 Collaboration platform (Answer): I mount this site to share questions or ideas and collaborate with other students by posting your doubts or answering someone else's questions; a similar site to Ask, Stack Exchange, or Stack Overflow. To become part of the community, first sign up and post at
📝 Research, science & education blog: Finally, I would like to invite you to follow my blog, where our research group shares updates on research topics, as well as science and education posts that can be found at
Make sure to check your email regularly, as all course announcements, materials, and discussions will be shared through this channel and sites. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or need help getting started.
⚠️ Please remember not to reply to this email, as it is an automated, unsupervised account.
Stay tuned for the next update, where we’ll start configuring our IDE for AIA tasks!
Best regards,
Gerardo Marx
